That's fine and all, but you're allergic to meat or something :p |

No idea why my body hates meat but, hey, more bacon for you guys!
Edit: Not you, Fleisch, my body only hates meaty fleshy meat. |

Oh, I forgot my suicidal headache periods. They always come around ~03.30 at night and wakes me up every few months or so. It's like trying to sleep through a blitzkrieg invasion. Taking normal painkillers for this is like using a watergun to put out an Australian forest fire. |
Try shrooms.. not kidding |

man, TA seems to be quite an unhealthy bunch.
It seems a lot of people have not just one, but several serious health issues.
I've always wondered about the cluster headache thing. Not that I'm trying to be inflammatory, (so don't chuck the toys out of the pram when i say this) but the three people I've known that have had these "cluster headaches" have basically had pretty obvious mental issues relating to anxiety and it always seemed to be the perfect mechanism to get them out of what ever pressures they had going on (family gatherings, work commitments etc).
[serious question] Is there actually scientific / anatomic evidence to support they are a real thing? |

No, it's unrelated to mental problems, but the exact cause is unknown.
OT: My pylonidal cyst came back again, pretty badly, when I was home on vacation for two weeks. I ended up spending 15 hours at the emergency room just to have come rugrat first-year resident say they'll chop me up and leave the wound open (he claimed to be an abcess already).
Have an MRI exam in two days to see the wholeness of the situation and meeting with my surgeon tomorrow to see what we can do. |

Just got my new medicare card which took the ing Quebec government months to send me because it got "lost in the mail" the first time.
At least now if my arm falls off, brain catches fire or I turn into a werewolf I am covered. |

Have you ever had a vacuum dressing on it? |

Nope. Doubt they even have this in Romania. The cavity of the cysts was never fully excised, they simply drained them and left them to heal up, so the cysts actually never actually recidivated, they were not operated on properly.
The funny thing is that I went through IPL (intense pulsatile light) treatment quite a while and my intergluteal cleft is pretty hair-free. But they keep popping up.
Went to the surgeon today who cleaned it a bit and told me to get the MRI done, which is scheduled tomorrow.
OT: The cyst I have right now is actually from 2010. So this is not new either. |

Precisely why a vac dressing would be optimal. Too bad they don't have that over there. |

I was in Sweden at the emergency room. They said they'd let the wound heal up and that was it. No VAC mention. |
