As far as Europe goes, they need to stat limiting the amount of refugees they are taking in ASAP. In small numbers, cultural assimilation is possible but in large numbers it is not.
As for the refugees who are not granted asylum, im still unsure about what the best way to handle these people is. Maybe refugee camps , all though that could be a potential hot zone for extremism by both sides. Im sure it would conjure up memories of nazi internment camps, american Japanese internment camps, and so forth.

As far as the war on radical islam goes.....if turkey and saudi arabia are our allies then we are already losing. We need to be much more critical of saudi arabia and how it funds extremists. Interesting as well is how other countries and leaders in the area have attempted to funnel the power of "radical jihad" for their own political agendas such as Assad to only have to backfire in their faces.

The only thing that will save the islamic world is a cultural and economic reanaissance. This is really the only force that moves people alway form fundamentalism , similar to how it moved people away from christian fundamentalism after the dark ages. MAssive income inequality, poor education, poor living conditions and standard predispose a person towards looking for scapegots to justify their situation and religion to give hope. I agree with Znack; the two fundamental problems are nequality for Muslim women and the lack of separation of church and state. Until those are adressed, there will always be extremists ttying to seize power through violent means.
