holy crap, nostalgia overload

It.Has.Been.So.Long
I registered in 2001. Last posted in 2008.
In all honesty, I drifted away from electronic (never stopped loving it, just stopped listening to music). I listen here and there
Was watching Traffic again (awesome movie) and the track at the end was Brian Eno's An ending (ascent). I remember there was an awesome old school electronic mix of it. So I spotified it and then started listening. (Leama and Moore). Anyway, I remembered the TA forums and decided to check it out for s sake.
Most of you are probably under 25 :crazy: and could give a fk, but this place was a serious haven and resource before smartphones, spotify, etc :haha:. Still seems to be doing well :toocool:
A lot of e-memories from this place. Its bitter sweet. Reminds me of my super early 20s, single life, no kids, clubbing, and getting lost in the music (and alcohol). :( A lot has happened since then
Swamper still around? kaos? God I cant even think of everyone elses names, despite interacting/reading daily. |

Doubtful. This place has been in decline in terms of daily posts since around 2006 or 2007. The younguns are mostly on Facebook or other, newer social media. Only old farts use message boards anymore. |

Damn I feel old. This place in 2002, 2003 was epic and for some reason really reminds me my first girlfriend together with my first time having sex (on Motorcycle-As the rush comes Avb remix), also together with my first (and only) heartbreak.
Pure nostalgia indeed. Obviously can't remember any of your post but still nice to see you :) Like you I stopped posting at the end of 2009 I think, and posted like 10 posts or so in the last 6 years lol. |
