They drown unwanted female children. I don't think they'd approve of you.

It's also way hotter there than where you live. A massive chunk of the country is under water atm. God has to do extreme to get Chinese to shower. (God = dumb idiots who thought the 3 gorges dam was a great idea.)

Hmmm...hotter than I thought it would be in places, anyway. Please to be verifying accurate, please and thanking you:

Currently 35C here with heat index of 41C. Need Dirty Mexicans (TM) to mow yard.

It's been 35 a few times in Canada too this year. I don't think you see anyone mistaking it for a sub tropical climate.

Do you heat in winter?
Zoso
Our winters have become a lot milder in the last few decades. Last year was very mild. We have a heat pump/central system that uses both electric and natural gas. In mild winters, we use the heat pump exclusively. We also have a wood burning stove for the colder winters. It's not uncommon for us to have one or two week stretches of single digit (F scale) temps during January and/or February. And, sometimes, we even dip into sub zero temps, but it has been a few years since that happened. We also used to get a few decent snowfalls each winter, but that too is become less common.

There is no heating south of the Yangtze river.

Hillbilly Club Med dream dashed.

Where I was, unbearable heat (humidity so high that if you forget to turn on your aircon, you'll get puddles in the house) 8 months of the year, and perhaps 2 months when you can actually dress well and wear anything with long sleeves or pants. Oh, and no one sells deodorant.

When my paternal grandmother was alive and living in this house, she never used the AC. My dad had the current unit/system installed probably 10-12 years ago. He used to cycle the system twice a year, just to keep the compressor functional. My grandmother didn't believe in AC because, as she loved to tell, she had 2 nieces that "were addicted to air conditioning!" I'm sure their morbid obesity did not help matters, but my grandmother never saw that correlation. She also refused to use the heat pump because of 1.) "the fumes" (not sure if that meant carbon monoxide or what); and 2.) "it might explode". In the summer, she just opened more windows and place more oscillating fans around the house. I once explained to her, after she related the addicted nieces story, that I spent all day in an office with AC, and we had it at our home, yet I was able to survive in her no-AC home and was still able to help dad around the farm during the summer with things like fencing and processing fire wood. She only remarked, "So you've got AC? Huh!" I think she assumed there was still some hidden level of deception at play.

To be fair, she probably owned niggers.

:stongue:

She was one of 16 children born and raised in a 3 room cabin with dirt floors in the mountains of North Carolina. She was the last of the 16 children to pass. Eight died before adulthood, and the rest literally chain smoked themselves to death. She only went as far as the 8th grade, but you would never have guessed that from interacting with her. In her prime, she loved gardening and kept three separate one-acre plots brimming with veggies. She met my grandfather when they both took jobs at Oak Ridge. They didn't know it at the time, but they were both working on components of the atom bomb. They married and moved to this part of TN, eventually purchasing this farm from my grandfather's parents. My brother and I are now the 4th generation to have the family farm.

I think TA successfully has enough information to circumvent all of the security questions to all of your bank accounts.

When you do, can you please make a deposit? All of my account activity is always debits.

Answers to all knowledge based questions for every system I use is: EATABLACKDICK!

I thought eating black dicks and getting things deposited inside is what started your whole kerfuffle to begin with.

It made me question some things for a time, yes, but it certainly didn't start the kerfuffle. The kerfuffle goes back as far as I have memory.
