Who is this Paul Van Dyk guy anyway? Everyone keeps talking about him. Has anyone ever heard of Tiesto? Does anyone like him? He must be pretty good too, huh?

David, I've seen PvD up close, for 3 hours, and the only time my jaw dropped to the floor is when he double beated the record so bad he had to switch across channels really fast, but what surprises me is that there are still people that went to that event and say it's one of his best sets ever......he ed every other mix up for nearly 2 hours, he played Ferry Corsten - Punk so fast it was hardly recognisable......there's a million and one better DJ's out there, the guys living off past glories, and for some strange ed up reason people still like him....... |

they're about as bad as each other atm :(

Funny how when one person states a negative toward Paul van Dyk, a bunch of people come out of the woodwork to defend their God and say how great he is and how wonderful of an artist he is, etc ...
But when people bash other DJs (*cough* Tiesto *cough), everybody just jumps on the bandwagon and says what ing sellouts they are and how badly they suck.

*note: I have nothing against Mr. van Dyk. I just think this board has a lot of double standards when it comes to this sort of thing. |

Az...you must think you sound really bad ass talking over the internet to people you don't know. You can sit on your ass talking to me, seventh, or others but you really think we give a flying what some dip says on the internet? Personally, I don't.
