well..

if you add the numbers of the letters in the Hebrew word for 'Garden of Eden,' you get 144
if you add the numbers of the letters in the Hebrew word for 'Tree of Knowledge,' you get 233
now, according to an Italian Mathematician (Fibonacci)..
if you divide 233 ['The Tree of Knowledge']
by 144 ['The Garden of Eden']
you get a number close to Theta..
which is the Greek symbol for the Golden Spiral (or..'the end')'

as for the actual sequence,
you got it right
it's...infinite
and the last term is always the sum of the two numbers preceeding it
i think it may start at 1, though...
1,1,2,3,5,8,13...infinitum |

Aha thanks for Yewminyst, I never realized that. As for PPK, they got that from the first letter of their last names, but the K guy left later on :p |

Hydra could either be...that sea-monster that Hercules slayed..
or the constellation Libra
Shandar could simply be a white tiger...
or, the more complicated version of it..
there's a roleplay world called 'Sidria'
it's basically a more complicated version of Dungeons and Dragons
Shandar is one of the gods there...

coincidentally enough,
a region inside Sidria is called 'The Seven Cities'
