darude - sandstorm
darude = the rude. comes from a track by leila k called the rude boy i think. ville virtanen really liked this song.
there is a preset sound or melody or whatever called "sandstorm" in some synth. i think it was in jp8080, but not sure though. the track basically consists of this preset, i've been told! |

aye... and that's why it's easy for us to mess everything up... everything sounds alike :p "L'Esperanza" is actually Italian. In Spanish, it should be "La Esperanza"... and in Portuguese, it would be "A esperança" :)

isn't fire wire some kind of a computer thing? used for connecting somthing maybe? someone could clear this up!

FireWire is a file transfer format invented by Apple. Very useful for mp3 players and digital cameras. Allows around 6 MB/s transfer rate.

Komodos are the largest lizards on earth. They are only found on a few Indonesian islands on the southern part of the archipelago if I am correct. On average, Komodo dragons weigh around 70 Kg (150 lbs) and around 2.5 m (8 ft) long. Their vision is very good at picking up distant movement. They have forked tongues which they use to "taste" the air, just like snakes. They are carnivorous and hunt using stealth mainly. They'll wait in a spot for a hapless victim such as a deer or a goat to come along and with great quickness they'll bite the creature. The bite is not intended to kill the victim, but merely to infect it with bacteria. The dragon will then track what it has bitten for a few days until the victim succumbs to the infection caused by the bite and then it's dinner time. They have been known to kill humans from time to time so don't get too close ;) |
