here in australia caned = the feeling of having been thrashed - ie you go for a long run and you have caned your legs... most likely used to symbolise someone having used a cane on your legs like the good ol' days
my interpretation of caned and unable is that the name was thought up after a big night out whereby he was too exhausted to think of a name |

I always wondered what that means too! Where did I even get it from? Is it the name of a track?
If I remember it's said in Tomcraft's Prozac.. think it's taken from a German movie or something.
