two questions:
(1) I'm seeing a few sets with more than a fair amount of prog./deep house tracks. I thought the first compo was the only one we allowed people to use house in...what gives?
(2) Is it permissible to use a couple tracks with breaks? i.e. Starecase...

i sure hope it's allowed to have som prog and breaks in the set. wouldn't it be boring for the judges with 20 sets witha ll uplifting trance?

i will have to officially drop out of the competition
graduation and finals have all swamped me, and i have not had a moment at all to put a mix together
plus, i am moving out of the house right away, so i will be doing tons of work in anticipation of that
well...this does open up a spot for a reserve! someone will be happy :)
anyways, there is always next year, good luck everyone :) |

I am going to have to withdraw as well - moving from 1 apartment to another this week, so it is hard to record my mix with all my records and turntables stacked up in the corner of my room in boxes. Oh well, good luck to whomever gets a go now.
