Question for girls.

Not so long ago i was talking with my friends gf , and we were on the topic of love/relation etc,
And apparently all the girls by her theory always dream/go for a guy whose older than her and is very financialy stable,,, so i ask her about loving a guy who maybe isnt older and isnt financialy stable,, she says right away that its a no no and thats its every girls dream about older and rich guys.
Then i tell her that if thats how girls work then true meaning of love is down the drain and that girls are money hungry selfish bitches, she got pissd off at me and walked off, so i thought id ask you girls on here, is it true that you always tend to go or always dream of going for a guy who is older and is rich ??? |

Well that's not the case for ALL girls. I mean, look at the result of "Average Joe". She chose the pretty boy who was in college, still lived with his parents, and had a ty job :stongue: and not the millionaire stock broker.
Anyway. Your friend seems like quiet the retard. I would have jokingly told her back that all guys look for in a girl is someone who can give good head and a someone who still has a tight .:tongue2 |

well if you look at it evolutionarily it makes perfect sense. According to that theory we want to pass on our genes, so it is in a girls best interest to find a guy that is finacially stable, which usually comes with age.
guys look for physical fitness....we judge that on looks, that is why we are always screaming pics or stfu....
it all comes back to darwin, the most adapted survive. |

i'm not gona lie... i rather have an older guy bc there are better chances of him being more mature then a guy who is younger then me.. but then again not all guys are the same and some can be more mature then others.
and yes i would rather go out wiht a guy that i know will be able to be financialy stable for at least him self. that way i dont have to worry about being the soul bread bringer to the house/relationship (however u want to look at it) or always ask me to lend him money and then never pay me back.... i'm not saying that he has to be REALLY rich like bill gates, but as long as he can support himself for his needs to be met.... thats fine..... even if that means that he has only enough money for food and isnt the big spender type.
i say that bc if I can be responsible enough to make money for myself i hope the guy i'm dating is able to doo the same... so that we are equale..
i have dated a guy whos family was more deprived then mine and he was able to go to work and make enough money for himself.. i never asked him of anything infact i tried helping him out in little ways of as i could..

Well, that's a generalization. But she is much more realistic about women's desires than most other women.

What is the "true meaning of love?"
I think you're confusing matters a bit. Women are more prone to feel geniune love, affection, attraction, et cetera towards men who are financially stable (which may or may not mean older). They aren't pretending to love the men as a means to another end.
So how does this undermine the "true meaning of love" any more than a man feeling love for a woman due to other arbitrary characteristics of that woman, such as her physical appearance? |
