carbon-tempered AKA Battle-ready, it was the standard issue sword Aka war sword, of the time. Its really cool, takes a long time to be strong enough to use it though, which is why im guessing lots of people died. Its like here, go swing this 14 lb piece of metal as hard as you can for as long as you can, and dont let the other guy hit you.
