what exactely was "my argument" ?
If u want a more recent example of a nice build up take the dutch dimension set 2002, or the special way Tiesto structured his concert...i was there and did feel a concept.

the thread being who is the better, you can't compare DJs on what they were, but who they are. It's like talking about Tom Stevens, he's a mad technoist yet used to be a full on trancer with Tomski.
2002 is still in the past, it's like saying ferry was average in 2002, he was, tiesto was worse. 2003 they are both ok, although i thought ferry played a blinder @ promise on friday just gone so imo he's leading.

It's a general question requiring a general answer and thus you gotta look at the whole picture and not the last 2, 3 weeks. Why didn't you use the same argument when people were listing ferry productions from 1999? Same with sets imo. I try to sum it all up and then draw my conclusion (which is still, of course, an subjective opinion and should be respected as such). I dont necessarily think Tiesto got worse, I really like how he adapted both progressive and tech-trance in the last 2.5 years and I dont think his programming worsened at all. For me TiC was a perfect journey, a perfect night. For ME.

so you have changed with tiesto or because of tiesto and not for yourself, right...
and it's objective, not subjective
and tiesto didn't even make his own remixes a year ago, so how can u tell how his synths programming was, i assume you mean that by programming? |

TBF, when you decided to post pictures of yourself and tell everyone how you think you are incredibly goodlooking - you had to expect people to flame you for some time after. |

oh Lordy....here we go again. if everyone would like to see the real story- go back to the early pages of the picture thread and see how i never once said i was incredibly good looking, nor did i post my picture expecting to be worshipped. i dont need worshipping from sorry excuses for men like some of you, i have my boyfriend for that. keep in mind, it was a picture thread ffs!

No i mean the programming as in set structuring.
Changing with Tiesto? WTF? 2 years ago I listened to trance only but then became more and more interested in other apsects of electronic music, mostly thorugh the GU series and DJ's like Sasha and Nick Warren. At that time I got pretty sick of the anthem-after-anthem sets of the 3 dutch men and therefore liked how Tiesto seeked to abandon this formula and adapt new styles. Nowadays I'm listening to trance on a more regular basis again but if I do I tend to prefer the more diverse, in my opinion more interesting style of PvD and Tiesto.
Like Dj Pío stated it's art and therefore ONLY subjective. |

| awww someone got their feelings hurt....i didnt realize me saying "i'm a trooper" was "starting ." and yes, i can reply to every one of those quotes- when i said "never flashed my but heres my arse", that was in response to your dear friend ians post of him calling me a slut. but i guess that relates to tiesto and ferry, right? or how about joehs continual bashing of me? that really contributes well for this thread. i'm sorry, but when people i dont know continue to talk about me, i'm gonna try to put it to rest. thats what i've been doing- attempting to point out that nothing on here has been offensive to ya'll, whereas you and your cool posse have called me derogatory names, instigated yet another fight, and brought up stuff that happened (not even with you) awhile ago. if thats not starting something, i dont know what is. but im done talking about this. i really am clueless as to why i stir up such hatred for all of you, so thats why i think its funny. i'm sure to know someone first before i make a judgment about them. give it up, go find something to do, and stop harassing me. |
