well, i unfortunately have to defend orbax on this one.
NOT what he said, but his stance. i know all too well what it's like to be insufficient and then work your ass off and feel good about it. it gives you a confidence rush like nothing else.
orbax was helping, albeit in his own convoluted, sardonic way, hah. keep in mind that when you hear things like that from someone like him, they're not meant as an insult, and if you take it too personally, well, that's your problem because you choose to let it affect you that profoundly.
believe me when i tell you - orbax things you're hot, and in no way were his comments meant as an insult.
to Orbax:
omgwtfbbq, those two girls are pretty fine. i have stupidly high standards, too, but having high standards is no excuse to be breaking girls' hearts ;)
LKA is right about the whole insensitivity deal - if someone said that to you it probably wouldn't affect you, mostly because, well, no one would say that to you.
now shake hands make up (or is it make out? i'm sorry, i'm an immigrant and colloquialisms hurt my brain), and shake hands, otherwise i'll drive down to toronto and seatlle and slap both of you.

actually, if you read what I said, and understand the scale I was not calling either of you fat. There is a difference between overweight and fat, and I would thank you to not put words into my mouth. Most people are overweight, as in probably 80%. Practically every society today has problems with rich diets combined with white collar jobs. Now if you get your head out of your asses and realize what I said, maybe you wont be hearing pure crap. I said if you lost some weight youd be STUNNING so with that LITTLE push youd be STUNNING. So where does that mean you are at now? Oh right, HOT. So off.

I saw nothing in that picture that would make me ever think that you are "fat" or even "chubby". You look very good to me in that picture. Not remotely fat. I can't see where Orbax got that (nor do I need an explanation).

but when you tell my friend she would be hot if she lost 15 made me mad cuz you made her feel so damn low... i understand you think that it might help drive ppl to lose weight but ppl can do that on their own they don't need ppl to tell them it.. you think we don't tell ourselves everyday that we look bad??? It's something we have to work on ourselves with no ones help. |

im so ing angry right now its hard to breathe. and I wont take back a single thing I said, I still think i am absolutely correct.
Not that I feel i need any sort of vindication or anything, but to let you know, my mom got so heavy we were preparing to have her die of a heart attack 5 years ago. shes lost 150 lbs so far, and happier than she has been in a long time, and if it wasnt for people like ME sitting down and saying lose some in weight, my mom would be DEAD right now. and if you think well she was 150 lbs over weight, how the hell do you think it all starts? Or do you just wake up 1 day and be a land monster.
wow, im still pissed even after writing that. No one is perfect, that doesnt mean GIVE UP. me. Plus ive already complimented the out of you guys, and if you cant realize the slightly caustic sardonicism that was in my post was playful, and yes, meant to be a little hurtful, then you havent been reading many of my posts have you?

and no I dont think youll do it on your own. One question I ask people is are you happy about your weight? They say NO, i say YES YOU ARE, they say NO IM NOT and get angry, and im like "well you are obviously happy enough to not do anything about it". sometimes people NEED a kick in the ass. |
