Clubbing: Go solo or go in a group??

| Out of curiousity, I was wondering, when you go clubbing, which do you prefer? To go alone or with friends? There are pros and cons to it. Going alone: PROs : You can leave whenever you want. You don't have to babysit anyone. Don't have to worry about losing people in the crowd. Cons: No one to talk to unless you make new friends that same night. No one to make out with [B]:confused: Don't have to spend money on anyone but yourself....... now, going with friends: PROs: You'll have ppl to talk to. You can borrow money off them if needed for drinks...or..other things...;) Safety in numbers. CONs: There WILL be comflicts about when you're all going home. Getting separated is highly likely with a lot of ppl in your group. Crowded car, perhaps? This may sound like a dumb inquiry, but im just lookin for outside feedback. I've had fun going alone AND with ppl. however, now in these trying times, I have to go alone......Still, i had mega fun at Space34 in Miami on 6/20/03 when I saw Paul van Dyk live. :) He played a BUNCH of songs i loved, including Autumn, Another Way, Tell me Why (Vandit mix) and he played the Breaks Dub for Rank 1 - Airwave 2003 (Breathing). I must admit, that night I only had ONE Corona beer and I STILL had fun that night. :) |

depends on the club, depends on how i'm feeling, depends on who i'm seeing etc...
I love to have a friend or friends come who are driving, so i can get ed up out of my mind and not have to worry about staying sober to drive. |

| i roll alone more nowadays cuz i meet more girls that way and also i feel more independent. I used to think rollin to a club with a "right hand woman" would help me with the opposite gender but i found lots of times girls mix us up for being a couple. |

| Yea, goin with a right-hand woman, as you put it has its advantages and disadvantages.....Goin with a woman when you're rollin should be EXTREMELY beneficial if she's the right kinda woman..... |

| i think we got our terms wrong. . . .my ebonics always gets ppl comfused. Rollin' as in goin to a club . . .not droppin X but yea, your point is still true either way :)!! |

| Yes, that is true....depends on the neighborhood and the club. Space34 is in fact in a very VERY NASTY f'n neighborhood. The cops are stationed right outside the club tho, since a lot of ppl bring drugs in there......So the location is a double-edged sword. Still, I wouldn't go up the next block without an AK-47..... |

| You know whats worse? they opened up a Hip-Hop club right down the block before Space34....I'm wondering when the caps will start flying there. I drove right by it and the scene was not pretty. |

| Know whats weird? the cops dont even search you at the door to Space34. no one searches you. i guess the cops are there when the bouncers/security in the club see someone thats under the influence. ive never seen someone get taken out of there, and i think id rather not, might gimme nightmares about Space34....i dont do anything but in any case, i HATE cops. whatever, let them just rot outside the door and maybe get shot by the scum at the hiphop club. |
