A friend sent an MP3 of Dumonde- Never look back to me, and I liked it...a lot...he then asked if I wanna go to a rave, I did and everything else fell into place. :)

For me I always use to love Euro-New Wave anything with stuff besides just guitars. Slowly it evolved from "dance" music to whatever else I thought sounded phat, I really cant pinpoint when I "got into trance." But I always knew I had a love for electronic-based music.

Plus I always figured since I was Asian, anything electronic based was in my blood. LOL

LOL!

im not afraid to admit this, the Mortal Kombat soundtrack got me into EDM and ultimately trance.

Yep, Mortal Kombat the movie was my first electronic music experience. I wonder how many people altogether that soundtrack has influenced.

older brother + mary jane + trance music in the car - I was done for

Trance was and other electronica just seems alot more sophisticated and complex than other music genres. I'm also a big fan of some trip hop groups.
