Crazy that I just noticed this thread, since it's huge. Since everybody else is doing it, figure I might as well share my story.
Sometimes, I think some girls have learned to do this to test guys. To see what they'll put up with. When you're on their "potential intellectual wh0re" list, they'll jerk you around for a while, then one day see you or call you up and pretend that everything's okay and that nothing ever happened (they definitely won't apologize or offer an explanation). If you give in, they'll do it again and again, until you're their non-sexual bitch.
My attitude is to be a complete gentleman until/unless I get jerked around. Then I immediately turn into a cold-hearted . No warnings, no backing down. They should know better than to with guys, but they don't, because of the wimpy guys that go around telling them "don't worry, you deserve better, you'll find someone who will treat you like a queen right from the start" - these guys apparently don't realize that those guys who treat them like queens get blown off in seconds.
The EXACT same thing happened to me as in the first post, she was never around and took 2 weeks to return messages. Eventually I stopped calling. Last time I saw this one at a party, I didn't even look at her, and after a few times of passing by her and paying no attention, she grabbed me aside and tried to make me pay attention. This happened a couple times on the same night, and each time I basically just stood there giving 1 word answers until she ran out of conversation, then I walked away. I could see she hated every minute of it. Let me say right off the bat that I don't enjoy doing this, it's hard doing it to a cute girl that I like, but she ed up, and if she's not ready to explain herself, then I'm not ready to give her the time of day. That's my viewpoint.
So my advice to anyone else who goes through this is, stop associating with them, period. Happiness is all relative, and if you can't make yourself feel better, at least you can make them feel a lot worse. They may try to blame it on you, but the point is, you don't really give two s. |

i was told this last night. it didnt make me feel better and never does. be honest when you are breaking up cause like this is weak and hurts even more. |

But yeah, so we're in agreement. ;) I would never say this. I wouldn't say "you're a ing slut" either. It's best just to state the obvious, that the two people in question are obviously not right for each other. |
