| Mark O - did a great job keeping the party moving. Aside from the first track, hearing Dumonde - Tomorrow and FERRY CORSTEN - ROCK YOUR ING BODY ROCK (jesus I love this tune, thanks for slamming it Mark) was icing on the sweet cake. |

I dunno about you guys... but thought mark oliver spun one of the craziest sets ever... better than pvd and better than armin which of which I really liked...

The raving scene in Toronto was a little different from NYC one.. i felt kinda awkward being way too standed out wearing pink UFOs and hopping way too intense like a crazi energizer bunny with glow sticks (i didn't see any single one who wore UFOs... most peeps were dressed up very nice and neat). I think the appeal of raving and clubbing is different for every person. |
always wear whatever is most comfortable on you. I always dress however I want so that I can dance freely without sweating my ass off.
as for the raving thing.. yeah lots has changed here over the last 5 years or so. I'm sure the crowd looked a lot different back in 1999 when Paul first played here at Industry (which no longer exists) than it did when he played on Sunday. It's just a sign of the times and the progression of the scene.

It was also great talking to the American couple(can't remember your names, sorry) who drove several hours to get here..great conversation at the meet up...glad you love TO and the scene here etc... |
That was probably Terry and me, sounds about right (sorry i don't remember names well either but it sounds like it was you we were talking to) ;)
This weekend didn't disappoint at all. PVD was amazing as was Mark, especially at the end of the nite. It was hard to keep my body moving after dancing both nites, but I tried my best.
Andrea and Steve: It was great meeting up with you again! (and glad we could help you out at the door!) Thanks for sharing the space at the front and dancing up a storm with us!
It was great to meet some of the TA's before and at the show. Hopefully we'll be able to meet more of you next time. Thanks to all of you the energy and love in the room on Sunday was out of this world. |

Barraka - Song to the Siren

I would have loved to go! I'm sorry I missed this. AvB the night before knocked me on my ass. I slept in my hotel room all day Sunday and woke up bright and early Monday morning for the long drive back to Chicago.
Glad you guys had a blast. |

the energy in the kool haus when pvd was comming on was just insane. there was a vibe that night that i never really felt at a party before...
paul van dyk was amazing, and so was mark oliver... paul killed us with his set, he showed no mercy, sik track after sik track, i didnt want it to end. but when it did, mark just kept the hard stuff comming. Awesome night! Cant wait till he comes back. |

USMC, Cyrus King, hardcore trancer: I began with "Unspoken" by Spacediver after PVD's incredible set (talk about a tough act to follow!). I've been playing the vocal version for the past few months, but opted for the instrumental mix last night which seemed more approptiate as Paul left the stage.
