You have to look passed the violence (which is quite humourous at times, Takeshi Miikes sense of humour :P). Ichi The Killer's storyline is absoloutely brilliant and Takeshi Miike has turned the Anime comic into a masterpiece, combining "love", comedy and horror. If you watch this movie with an open mind, you will notice there is not one single dull moment and this is not an exaggeration. The ending is very mind boggling and leaves you to come up with your own conclusion, the soundtrack is awesome and the cinematography is very original.

Ichi The Killer rocks.

I don't know if i have already posted in this thread and if i did what I posted, but my favorite genres for films are drama and comedy. Sometimes I enjoy adventures and horrors too.

The following are my favorites.

Scarface, Boiler Room, Taxi Driver, Godfather pt 1, Godfather pt 2, Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
