Well... good series Marlins... Looks like no parade for me. :(
I dont expect the Yanks to be too much of a threat for a few years because they need to rebuild their pitching staff. They also need to get rid of Garcia, L. Rivera and other scrubs for good people. Yanks should sign Shannon Stewart in LF, move Matsui to RF, move Williams to 2nd, move Soriano to CF. |

| hehehe, another yankee hater is happy! yay! they dont need to sign anybody, they need a new owner. all he does is just cause conflict within the organization, and he doesnt even live in ny. wut is up with that? |

Dude, they do need people - Shannon Stewart would be a good pick up, he did really well with the Twins and he is a very solid fielder as well. And your telling me with Wells and Clemens retiring and with the already weak bullpen they have they dont need any rebuilding? OPEN YOUR EYES.
About Steinbrenner, ugh, I dont know what to say - hes a poser. I consider him just another investor - he just got lucky with one of the most popular and the most winningest team in sports history. Amazing what money can do. With all the money he spends on players, he might as well just take A-Rod off the hands of the Rangers. :o :tongue2 |

i mean yea well, EVERY team in EVERY professional sports league, there is always room for improvement. and with all the money the yanks spend on getting players, they are ALWAYS the most talented team on paper possibly in all of sports maybe with the exception of real msdrid and ac milan. so the players arent the problem cuz talent wise, they are always better than the teams they face. yea shannon stewart would be a great pick up for the yanks, and every other team in the league.
the bullpen issue goes as follows. they still have mariano who is still pretty much lights out, not like he used to be, but i would take him over any other closer in the league. the rest arent great, but solid. nelson always has nasty stuff, and contreras is such a hard thrower. the prob with the yanks, and this has been a problem with them for as long as i can remember, is that they never try to get a good left handed reliever, they think they can do with just 1, but tis not the case. they should really invest in that. |
