First of all, i was making fun of the radio rap and not the underground.
I like rap/hip hop artist as: Krs-one,Beastie Boys,Run DMC
But today media think, everybody wanna hear is that gangster: pimping, bling bling, money, hoes rap music.I wish the radio would play some positive hip hop.
But all i see on mtv and hear on the radio is that negative ghetto crap |

rap/hip-hop on the radio/tv shouldn't even be considered music, i heard some underground stuff in my friends car and that stuff was decent
so when's tupac's next new album comin out? and wat about that dvd and that live concert from the dead and the streaming broadcast he's doin and all the other things dead ppl aren't physically possible of doing. :crazy: lol |

at the end of the day, this silly generalisation is the same narrow mindness that we all hate when people generalise electonic music as boring, repetitive noise generated by computers that anyone could make.
So you're not into rap/hip hop? fine, me either, but I won't deny there are talented artists out there, even on the radio.
Much like I would expect someone who is not into trance to appreciate that it still takes talent to produce good EDM. |
