NO ONE lipsynched at TiC. But the US version of the DVD has a voice-over edit of Mavie Marcos because she was just horrible live.
And the mixing was pretty damn excellent, or, as excellent as it has ever been. The World Cup Theme live mixed into Cave-Carnaval was pretty damn innovative, and the Australian horn thingie performance mixed into Obsession (Frank Biazzi mix) was amazing.
But keep in mind that the dvd was only 3 hrs. out of the 8 hrs. of the actual concert, so the editing resulted in some cuts that weren't there. I'm pissed the cut out the genius progression of Carnaval>Never (Filterheadz rmx)>Chutney. That effect was wonderful.
I was lucky enough to be there, i had the greatest time. :D |

awww...look at all the tiesto haters....dont worry, youdont have to go see him when he comes, even though the urge would kill you.
So sad how many people cry about his mixing...selectively picking out parts of his set.. which by the way was perfectly mixed on the dvd, in order to make themselves feel better.
Well...you guys still have to live with the fact that he is the best...ok?!

Who gives a about the mixing in this set ?? Hix mixing was decent and the atmosphere was to die for! |
