yeah i am too.
ok... begin rant:
there's this girl that comes in to the bar where i work 2-3 times a week. we get along, she usually tips pretty well, and we always hook her up cuz not only does she tip good but she sometimes helps us clean up a little at the end of a busy night.
well, on friday she came in with some guy she's dating. there was 3 of us bartenders on. i served him one drink and one shot, bobby served him one drink, and apparently the other bartender, who left a few hours earlier than us, must have served him quite a few shots. well, he puked all over the bar and she took him home, and said she'd be back. never came back to pay her tab. so her friend lisa, also a regular, paid for her tab, but said she would let the other girl tip us when she came in again. the tab was already $60 between her and her b/f, so it was understandable that her friend didnt want to pay both tabs and have to tip us twice. we figured she was good for it.
well she was in tonight. i had assumed she had been in between today and last friday to take care of her tab/our tip... and when i was driving the other bartender home i asked him out it. and he said... she told her friend that paid the tab for her, that she shouldnt have to reimburse her -- our bar should WRITE IT OFF because WE got HIM so drunk. what kind of bull is that??? she didnt say a word when he was ordering all these shots. and he must not have appeared to be in such bad shape if no one cut him off. BUT SHES NOT GOING TO PAY FOR ANY OF THE ALCOHOL SHE OR HE DRANK. and for how many times we hoooked her up....
i was totally speechless. i wish i would have found out earlier in teh night. i totally would have said something to her. and if it wasnt worth it for her to pay for the alochol they drank, she should at least know tbat CLEANING SOMEONE ELSE'S PUKE OUT OF DRAINS AND OFF THE BAR IS TOTALLY PRICELESS. she coulndt pay ENOUGH to make up for that.
