actually, i looked at 3 different stores for Manhattan and couldnt find it.
that's why i bought those two.
Five People You Meet in Heaven seemed very - dumbed down - but it was very similar, almost identical to the book. i thought it was ok. vanity fair i only saw about 30 min of then fell asleep. not b/c it was boring but b/c i was exhausted. i might try that one again tonight.
highmay would it be possible for you not to criticize EVERY SINGLE movie i ever buy? cuz, i mean, we've already established that you are so much intellectually enclined than the rest of us when it comes to picking a good movie, but, this is the kind of stuff i like, or that at least interests me enough to watch once, so how am i not "maximizing my movie experience" if its satisfying enough to me? did it ever occur to you that different people have different tastes, and that doesnt make one better than the other? i'm never going to sit down and have a conversation with siskel and ebert, so i can give two s what people think of the movies i like. i was just putting it out there socially, and if someone else wanted to see it based on what i said about it, then so be it. i wasnt holding a gun to anyone's head.

you see? i knew you were gonna spaz...well siskel died, but i know you're coming from...my apoligies...as i was typing it out i was saying to myself "this is gonna piss her off" lol...but i did it anyway to get you motivated...just go on a film noir binge just once and you'll see how drunkly addictive it gets...just ing trust me please...please... |

| i do trust you! but i'm not going to stop watching the kind of movies i already like! i can like BOTH you know. you can think the movies i like are crap all you want. i'll have you know i watched Little Black Book twice this week and Mean Girls twice as well! trust me... i'll get around to you recommendations. i at least made an effort last night, i just couldnt find that movie. but you know what? i'm quite content with me "mediocre" taste. really, i am. and i will diversify, but i'm still going to see Pooh's Heffalump Movie. and i'm goddamn excited about it ;) |

ok ill ing admit it: one of my favorite all time movies is UHF...and if anyone disagrees, 'em...everytime im down it puts a smile to my face... |
