the benefits of my boyfriend moving in was that he brought his ridiculously huge dvd collection... it will keep me occupied for a long time! its funny, i remember picking most of them out, but never staying awake for any of them, lol.
Kill Bill and Family Guy were mine though. i do have *some* taste ;) |

Family Guy is pretty funny ;)
Just finished watching in the past three days:
What Dreams May Come
Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
the last part of Mystic River
I've heard Fallen is a good movie- anybody seen it? |

i'm still not sick of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. must have watched it a million times since i got it. i just find soooooo many hidden meanings to that movie.
and after someone started that "what is the first ny club you stepped into?" thread, i dug out my Party Monster Shockumentary (not to be confused with the macauly culkin movie) and watched it with the James St. James commentary. makes me so nostalgic for how ny USED to be (meaning the clubs -- not all the excessive drug abuse and murder and stuff ;))
and i also watched the whole Stanley Kubrick collection this week. Clockwork Orange still has to be one of my favorites. |

i waited for months for that to come out. i was at the store buying it the day it came out. opening it in my car. was barely in the door and had it on.
best part ever.....
when they are in that beach house and its crumbling and he walks out the door, she comes down the stairs and says "at least come back and make up a goodbye. lets pretend we had one." what i took out of the movie was that true love persists through anything.... you can erase the memories but you cant erase feelings. if its meant to be, you find your way back to each other. |

OMG! Yes that was. The entire cinematography for that scene had me from the moment I saw the beach house so close to the water. |

| yep yep - even if it all crumbles, the real things endure. |

| The scenes with the people with no faces really irked me. :nervous: |

Definitely. There was something about this movie that made me think about past lives and how we all do have a conscious side that somehow remembers moments that transcend time, space, and conventions. It also made me think about the ppl I'm close to and how there might be a deeper reason why we meet the ppl we come across. Very profound movie. :)

That's a great part in the movie. I like when they go out onto the frozen lake as well.
Even so, there are some things I wish I could erase. |
