Why do I have to keep repeating myself. I DONT CARE WHAT HE PLAYED! If this was ing Sasha or some other DJ I dont like, I would still be making the same argument. :whip: :whip: :whip:
I am upset because he didnt do his job. If he doesnt want it, Ill take it, and I wont charge club owners an arm and a leg, and I wont skip out early, and i wont complain about too many gigs.
I guess its apparent that no one is going to take my side. But next time someone skips out early on a set and one of you say something, you will leave me no choice but to pull out this thread. |

First, if you don't want to read about me bitching, then STFU and don't come here. (using the don't-come-to-montreal logic)
Secondly, doing only 65% of the length of a scheduled set is bull. Next time don't bother booking for so long. Is there anything wrong with booking a 2 hour set?
Thirdly, I'm sure Ferry's arms weren't forced to play electro. I'm sure he loves electro. But I'm tired of everytime I go to Montreal thinking I'm going to have a good time, then someone at Aria (not even sure if he/they really work there) asks the Trance DJ's to play hard. Now that's BULL! Everytime I see the crowed go nuts when there is trance. Then I see the switch to techno or worse (prog) and the crowed just dies. The energy level goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down. |

Assassin and Greg, first of all Ferry even didn't know how long he was supposed to play so he has nothing to do with it.
First of all, Kid was supposed to start at 4h00 but he started earlier than that, so why you're not talking about Kid who played 1 hour extra? ;) Anyway, agreement made 2 months before can change in this business and if it make you so angry, stop going to see big dj's. I don't know more reasons to talk about this anyway.
Greg, any client can ask Ferry or any dj's to play what they want to hear and its not only like this in Montreal but around the world.

personaly i HATE trance...but i like that night fo sho mofo....all TAs had fun...mazen at first..LOL......ferry...i think..was kinna tired cuz they are doin 8 night in a row...but he did the job and i like that electro thing...:D
the night was great....i had time to talk with Vicious and he a really niceguy...pretty nice to meet him....
anyways...great night...great vibe...plz stop complaining...cuz youll never see line-ups like those we have at aria...its an honor and a privilege to have those guys spinning here:D :D (im trying to calm the here...btw..lol) |

I agree with Alec.......that Ferry played what HE wanted to play......
if i wanted to hear certain epic trances songs of my own choice, i would listen to my own music collection
so here is my review...
got to Aria at 3:00 in the morning, lineup was long, but thank God that Alec knows how to get himself inside quickly
got inside just at Kid Viscious began throwing down a most amazing set......it set the mood for the evening.....he played many great trance songs and the vibe in the place was incredible right from the start.....began seeing lots of TA's even this early and that just added to the fun
Ferry took the deck around 4:45 or so and started off the same way he did on his essential mix......and from there it just kept getting better....having danced for over an hour already, i proceeded to dance another 2 before ferry played some electro songs......i used this opporunity to rest my legs for half an hour....before dancing to the end of his set
the vibe was amazing.......lighting was better than i have remembered it lately......the strobe lighting was used to full effect, but did not blind me like the last time i ws there.....love the shiny disco ball in the center of the floor now.....reminds me of stereo :)
the girls were present in full force (although there were still many guys there) and the vibe was superb.....best atmosphere at a Ferry Corsten set in montreal among the 3 times i have seen him
temperature was a bit warm (most likely cuz i was shaking my ass all night).....sound was great as always
I dont know why people are complaining.....each time i saw those people, they were smiling from ear to ear :conf:

props to those who made this party happen......and good to see all the TA's....Mazen, Raul, detective you, jay, john, alec, shaun, chakra v, funkenlouis, hansolo (from toronto), and karim and partegurl and ryan and linzie......can't remember the other people i met.....too loud to hear your names :D |

and now thats what I call...a goooooddd review...thanks man....you are right..all the way..especially for the part when you mentionned that those guys that are complaining were smiling all night long...wtf with you guys....your tired so you say bad things...just to complain....threads are interesting...even if people dont bitch around all the time...
