| C'mon ppl, how many times did we expect Ferry to play for 3-4 hours and he went MUCH longer than that? EVERY single time I've seen him he played for at least an hour more than he was scheduled for. From his own words he takes quality on top of quantity, so he just stopeed when he thought he was not in the condition to play up to the crowd's expectations. He's touring now, playing every day in the different club, cut him some slack! I can remember Tisto and PVD doing exactly the same thing, I am sure there were incidents like that with Armin and any other big dj. Those guys are not GODDs, they are humans. |

Wow... i woke up seeing 3 pages of review... I thought myself that I'll have lots of reading to do...
no... is there anyone doing reviews ?
Let Assassin with his opinion.... he as the right to believe what he think. these are the types of opinion that influence the guy to decide what style he likes. so he doesn'T like electro. next time he will be more careful when going out. |

well, ive seen Ferry the last 4 times hes been to aria and the last 2 times hes stopped 1.5 hours before he was supposed to (anyone remember the advertised 6 hour set that only went 4.5?). The other 2 times he showed up late and only played until his scheduled end time. But im not going to beat a dead horse, obviously some people are too ignorant to accept this as fact.
Again with the 8 gigs in 8 days thing. He accepted to do 8 gigs in 8 days, agreeing to a certain # of hours per set. He is a professional, making more money per week than most of us do in 1 or 2 years. Dont for one second think its hard for a big name DJ to do this. Bands DRIVE from city to city and perform every night for MONTHS and ALWAYS go longer than the bill says. Its called PROFESSIONALISM. |

My Review
so I had a great time. BIG TIME ! :)
this time I had 2 friends with me, thats why you didn'T saw me much with you guys. It was their first time to a trance night, and for one it was his first experience to these kind of events.
They both had an amazing time. For sure they won't say no for a next time.
About me, I went to St-Sulpice for the meeting.. I could n't find a single TA in there... its like a labyrinth in this place... too much people also...
I was looking everywhere for a good 30min.
I believe I saw FunkenLouis in front of the tempo, (was that you wearing a black hat, calling people ?)
I then met my friends and we decided to go do the line. we waited a good 30 min in the cold (I learned my lesson, no more line up for me.)
I then saw the Peurf Squad...JE VEUX UN SHIRT PEURF AUSSI ! they are really nice. and they looked like tight shirt, am I wrong ?
Kid Vicious: I didn't espect a set like this from him, he did great ( Re-Form, OMG) I finally had the chance to hear this track in a club.
Ferry Corsten: Well, I love what this guy does, so I enjoyed his set a lot. Me too I wasn'T in the mood to hear his electro tracks which a computer voice, but hey it was great anyways. the crowd was moving a lot so you can't stop dancing just for the music. The vibe helps a lot to bring me the energy.
There was room to dance like usual on ferry's nights.
Last time I came to Aria was in October for Armin. (longtime) So it felt great to party like this once again.
It was good to see you guys too... Peurf budies, Master & Zing, RnakR, Ottawa tourists (lol), Falcon X and his friends (Bruno missed bigtime), and other people.. Also I know a security guy, didn't saw him for a while. It was great to see him...
Anyways yesterday night was a time for enjoying music.
Tonight its time for pussies :toothless I'm hitting LaBoom. |
