Opinions? The name obviously needs to be picked but heh :).
I do agree that forums aren't necessary, we can just link people to here. Forums are a bitch to get people to use when starting out too.

Anyone interested in helping out who has ideas can msn me @ [email protected].

EDIT: The one other thing I thought of was coaxing people like Markus Schultz to write a tutorial or do an interview about how they produce, would be kindof cool to have a pro do that.
Thanks People,

| I think what will seperate this site from any run of the mill e you find all over the internet is the sheer quality of the tutorials, the depth they go into, and the type of end product they achieve. I've read lots of tutorials on how to make phat sounds, and the samples provided have been crap. If we're gonna make a tutorial on say good basslines for instance, the end product should sound indistinguishable from a pro-production. This of course is easier said than done, but I think it's a goal we should work towards with it. |

Yep, that is my goal, otherwise it wouldn't even be worth bothering for. I'm looking for people with that whitty magazine / newspaper column style. It should be awesome.

I believe a huge benifit of this type of site would be the distributed expertise from everyone. everyone has something they are best at. So each and every tutorial can be revised and added to by other Authors. So where someone lacks the ear for EQ on their tutorial, someone else who has mastered EQ can touch up the tutorial and samples. This way every tutorial will be revised to a polished condition.
Edit: I'd be willing to contribute some cash into this project if need be. Im actually quite excited, what a GREAT idea! Its friggen ENDLESS. |
