Starting A Trance Production Site.. Any Interest? (pg. 4)

i like the idea of using the TA forums for your project, that way your readers wont have to sign up again to yet another forum with few users and fewer posts - which is usually really off putting to me and others as well I presume.
I would advise you get your tutorials to a really impressive and useful level, and to have a substantial quanitity of them on launch, adding a new one weekly - but definately on a reliable schedule. Too many production sites have the same stagnant content and poorly written or wholey irrelevant information. Interviews are great to a certain extent but they usually barely scratch the surface of many of the important issues - i guess thats down to the interviewer though.
I really like the idea of working towards a trance only site, and I hope you succeed. Just make sure your content is worth while and you will get the visitors. Also, the idea of getting tutorials from the Pro's makes the whole site seem to carry more credibility. |

all good Ideas.. Tutorials should probably be a primary part of the site with a new one at least once a week... Might want to stay away to "Intro to" tutorials on production techniques like Compression and Mastering.. or at least have a beginning - intermediate - expert level tutorials.. all launched at the same time
tutorials like:
"Getting Amazing Supersaws"
"Using FX To Get that Phat Bass"
"How To Get An Amazing Kick"
"How to Use A MIDI Gate"
stuff like that.. things that we as producers have had trouble with and have had to figure out or ask someone else..
I think it would be a good idea for all who want to get involved with this project to use this thread as a basis for the ideas we need to get it off the ground...
OH.. we're still looking for a good name :D |
