| I'm still new at trance production, but I've been a jazz player for many years now. If you'd be interested, I'd be more than happy to write some stuff on basic to advanced music theory, as it pertains to pop/trance music. Also, I have a computer engineering background, so I'd also be happy to help with any computer/technical end stuff. |

Really was that necessary? I mean what is the point when most of your posts are trolls like that?
TranceMasterUk:
Sample city isn't really the kind of site we are going for...

So far this kind of sounds like "Computer Music UK Magazine" with the key differences of being free, being online and last but not least, being solely about Trance.
I really like the idea. The design also looks nice so far. |

| Samplecity is packed to the rafters with useful stuff, but the only thing is that its all jumbled around in the forums! Using a search buttong is hardly an effective method to learn things. Sure the threads have useful tutorials and tips in them, but who wants to wade through all the spamming and argueing and just plain CRAP that comes along with an online community. |

lol
thats the thing though
there isnt any spamming or arguing
i hate that, and clamp right down on it.
always makes a better community when there is no spammers or people arguing.
i see your point though, forums are not always the best place to find what your looking for. |

all the best with the project though
on a personal note id love to just have sampelcity as a trance/dance site.
but there is many many members there who producer other styles. |

| Great idea!! its time we tranceproducers get a site dedicated for what we are doing. I hope this becomes reality, i think it can be really awesome. |

I actually had a similar idea - a couple friends and I are probably going to be buying a dedicated server at a colocation company, and I was considering starting a site for hosting all sorts of files for this sort of thing - patches and presets for various synths, MIDI sheets, samples, Reason Refills, all of that.
I'm pretty skilled at server-level work (have spent the last 2 years doing web hosting support), so if there's any expertise needed there, I'll be happy to help! |
