yea actually i find it quite funny... the only club we have here is a *SAD* all ages hip-hop club... and all the little 9th graders and flock there on sunday nights to hear their favorite songs... which of course they know all the words to... and i swear, the set is EXACTLY the same EVERYTIME you go there... oh and half the clubs sound system only works about 30% of the time... man that would so not fly in a decent club
hip-hop videos are the worst... its just some in idiot talkin and moving his hands, dressed completely goofy... and then you add the mandatory hoes and a party no one will ever see...
oh and did i mention that it takes NO SKILL to dance to hip hop? you just grab a chick and grind... how deathly boring! |

I was at this after hrs. a couple of weeks ago and they wanted me to put in some good beats so I put in PVD live @ GK from about a 2 months ago and after like 5 min. they wanted to put something else in saying it was to slow and they could not dance to it. I LOL and took my CD out they promptley put in some chez club mix like Scribbles 2000. I just laughed and watch them all dance to this CRAP. There might be alot of people who are in to dance music right know, but a lot of them listen to Garbage especially in the U.S.

I wouldn't go as far as saying they have no taste because I like a lot of diff. music. I even listen to country sometimes. But Trance is my main music. I like my good old oldies too though. (Steppenwolf, Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty and a lot more.) I like to think of us as new generation hippies and we should keep in touch with our roots.:):D.
anyways I love trance and this dood said to me once that Electronic Music takes no talent to produce. He was a rap addict at the time. Well I said ok if it takes no talent than u try and spin for 5 mins. I put him in front of my tables and he didn't know where to begin. He sucked soo bad. then I compared his to som PVD and he was like "WHOA". Now he is a technohead. I try to tell him trance is better but he loves hard tech so. I guess in a way I helped him see the light that is electronica. |

Most o' muh ma in niggas listen ta some type o' electronic rap though I find most o' dem gots become House rap snobs ....Don't git me wrong I enjoy pimp-tight crib tunes but I don' git da "rise" I git outta Trance...Once In awhile they'll ax me when be I going ta stop listening ta da candy kid rap grrrrrrrrrrr pisses me off.....but at least when we's jet out it'sta uh club dat spins pimp-tight crib an' once in while has uh pimp-tight trance/tech D.J.
