Much to my suprise, Oakenfold rocked buzz last night... he played a pretty banging progressive set for the first hour and a half then moved onto uplifting stuff for the last 30 mins... (dont get me started on paying $30 for a ing 2 hour set)... his last 2 tracks were dj tiesto-urban train and ppk-resurrection (space club mix)... i know ppk is a regular for him, but the way urban train mixed into it... i can hardly explain what it felt like... it really reminded me of the scene in groove where digweed drops heaven scent... everyone just had their hands in the air, dancing, everyone was at peace
ah man... i love this lol :)
ps. there were several bad parts about his set too... like the fact that he trainwrecked near the beginning :P also i realized just how commercial he is... just a few months ago he was spinning the same repetitive uplifting stuff and now he seems to be copying the trend and moving towards progressive... eh well it was still good |

| Right on man, Oakenfold spun an amazing set, especially near the end. The last two tracks were amazing. What an experience! |

Here's what happened, from what I remember..
He was playing a song that was building up, then suddenly the music changed to another song (of roughly the same BPM, but different melody). It's as if he moved the fader really quickly. There was no record skip or anything, the melody just changed and the music went on as normal. |

| Btw, PPK - Ressurection kicked ass :) I didn't know he would play it (I never bothered to look into his past live sets), so I went nuts when it came on. It's one of my favorite songs of 4-6 months ago. |

I was debating whether to go, 'cos I didn't have the tickets and I wanted to arrive early, but my friends were late, they only came to pick me up at around 7, so we went to a strip-club instead :D
So did I miss a lot, or did we make the right choice? :D
Also what was the male-to-female ratio, were there only couples or single girls too, what was the age group? :) |

| One of my friends saw him last Wednesday at Red Jacket in Dallas. He trainwrecked 3 times! $15,000 an hour for that? His track selection is not even that great. Sorry but Oakenfold has nothing on Tiesto. They shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath. |

More like galloping beats, cursing over the mike, and then a needle being lifted from the currently playing tack. |
