Man o Man what a party...!!
Crystal Meth did Not disappoint and busted out the best of the best from Vegas and some new tracks as well.
After CM's set, headed over to KH just in time for Junkie XL's killer set...i was anxious to see Armin but at the same time didn't want to see junkie leave - he was really working the crowd and everyone was loving it!
Armin comes on a little late around 4:30'ish, opens with Sahara...
as others mentioned he did play more progressive than i wouldve liked but def. mixed it up and threw down some BOMBS as well (can you say MIKE - Turn Off The Lights?)

and for those that say the guvernment has a stuck up crowd, i really have to disagree. i was feeling down that night because of something that happend earlier during the week, and because of my friends cheering me up, and random people asking me how my night was, and getting me to dance when i was just standing there, it really made the night better and cheered me up alot. |

argh...I missed Armin dropping Mono - Rise (prob due to sitting my ass down due to overheating, such a wuss). Sad state of affairs on that one. What I got of Armin was pretty good (am I wrong in that his beatmatching was weak that night? prob in listening to ASOT 2004 (which is brillant) ,et al. and drawing a comparison to his liveset.
Charlies definitely had a good feel going. Major props to interference (and the djs) for putting on a great show. As a compliment I'd be down to see an event like this by itself. |

alrite here's my review...
first and foremost, a big appology to all the TOTA's and TA's that came down early to hear Vagrant play inside Charlies. due to unforseen circumstances, many of you realized that the Guv security was not allowing people to move between rooms before 12am.
I'll let E2EK1EL comment on this matter further..
anyhow, it's like 8:30pm and i just woke up .. talk about an unproductive day.
last nite was unreal.. the vibe in that complex was completely off the hook and prolly of the best i've ever seen there in my entire time partying. wickids meeting up with the rest of you .. y'all know who u are. the TOTA's always make the party and kept the nite interesting throughout..
all the DJ's were great.. Charlies was blowing up shortly after 12am when everyone got inside. thanks to all who came by to support. all the other acts were great imho. Armin didn't really play a lotta the anthems that everyone was expecting until much later into the night.. Junkie XL stole the show from my perspective. was a pleasure seeing and meeting the legends Crystal Method as well..
anyways .. i'm gonna go back to sleep
(i'll upload my pics & videos to Travelninja sometime this weekend)

i had fun. i even liked the armin trance which completely surprised me. seriously, i never thought i'd see the day. i was dancing to breaks, and that rarely happens. the crowd was even good. the whole evening was "off" :p it was a wierd night, but fun nonetheless. nothing that will go down in history as being a life changing experience, nor anything that i will probably remember in the long run, but a chance to de - stress, which is the most important thing!
now, i sleep.
ps. i am scared to hear what i missed at boa in case i cry. oh sander - i shall not miss you the next time! |

I am used to partying in Montreal, honestly TOTA's are so much fun! I met so many people and hope to meet more in the near future. You guys all made my night! Damir, awesome time with you hun, but you disappeared !! Jonny - ha I loved busting a move with you, cause you always sang the vocals with me (that's my fav part), we will definitly have to do that again soon. Ryan, Derek, and molson, hope to see you soon as well. Hope to see you all at Tiesto...
