Armins set was mesmerizing. I loved most of it, except for 40 mins or so of boring prog. I recognized almost all of the tracks, which means I must be learning something on here. I went absolutly nuts when PVD's crush came on, I would have never guessed he would chose that track, and I LOVE it. It was awesome to hear it @ KH. I also loved hearing Oceanlab's Satellite, and velvet morning (nice singing ampz!).
WWas it just me, or did armin spin a vocal-less version of Lili Hayden - Anything? wow that was a tease...
All in all this is for sure my fav party ever....
I also go to tell Luke Fair that my last name is Fair, that was exciting... |

Amazing time at the guv complex last night, greet meeting all you new tranceaddicts i keep seeming to meet, starsearcher, liked your story bout running from queen and yonge, sounds like something i'd do, nice seeing/partying with ya. I can't belive some of you say Armins set was only ok, because i was blown away. He had that crowd on the tip of his needles from the second he took the decks. I popped my Armin cherry tonight and if that was a bad set from him then i think i might acually die if i heard a good one out of him....Maybe you guys just bitch too much...either way, wicked time partying with everyone....See you at Labour of love Terry and Jenn i'll miss u guys.

Attending a party on the tail end of 52 hour no-sleep streak:eek: :eek:
Having a typcial Guv Etard punch me in the back of the head because i didn't have a cigarette for him :conf:, then he punched me in the back again. At this point i literally threw this guy against the Guv stage (He was ruining my Crystal Method experience after all), then he wallowed away in fear.
Having a Guv bouncer tell me that the Drink was closed when it wasn't, resulting in me missing BLC and Dave Saddler's set.
The lock down that prevented me from entering charlies earlier, although i was one of the first few in there

Hey man, did I see you? I was directly upfront as well from the beginning to the end of TCM's set... im a brown dude who was wearing a blue dresshirt. I remember some stupid etard (phys description: dark-skinned dude wearing a grey shirt engulfed in sweat, 'think he wore a baseball cap too) who pushed me out of the way, sat on the stage before a bouncer kicked him off. When i jumped back into my spot i felt something like a punching/pushing action against my back, which pissed me off but i was too busy rocking out to TCM's encore to look back anyway. if you were the one who got this mofo to back away, props. |

What a great night :) I wanna thank everyone for coming out to Charlies. Was great to see so many friends. That was sooo much fun, and sadly all too short (as a result of the traffic control that John and the rest of us could do nothing about, unfortunately). Props to John for landing that room for the party, and props to DeepGroove and Tremblay: good sets you guys.
Was great to see everyone having a good time throughout the night. My take on some other performances I caught chunks of: TCM sounded kinda flat, Seaman was decent (no more), JXL was really good (as Heidi said, a little mainstream, but still really really good). Took off home after that 'cause Tara and I were so tired (I'd gotten a grand total of seven hours of sleep for the entire week @ that point, and was resultantly out long past my bedtime, lol!).
Funniest part of the night: seeing the look on my old neighbour Mark's face when he stormed the booth in Charlies and found me playing, much to his surprise (he had no idea that I played rekkids @ all). HahHAhaHahaha... |

Awsome night.......Armin was ripping it. I got a little to drunk early on in the night, cant remember till the end of Junkie, but that when the party started for me anyways. my legs hurt

Matt & Tara, great meeting you two at Charlies...Tara you're freakin beautiful - nice work Matt. Sorry i missed your set. I couldn't ge the crew in any sooner, and I couldn't get out of KH. Seaman just wouldn't let me. his first weapon was Gia (I was almost POSITIVE this was dropped by Seaman, but no?), and then Intergalactic. However, I did get to shake my money maker for a bit of Jon's set...good seeing you bro. |

had a great time.. so many others summed it up well, so i dont feel like typing too much.
my favs of the nite were jon tremblay in charlies, junkie xl, and armin. tried going into the guv to catch a little of crystal method but the crowd that was outside that hallway was enough to make me turn around.
stayed till armin ended his set, he wanted to keep spinning, but they made him stop after two encore tracks. got to meet him briefly at the end, and get his sig. :)
got a few vids and pics of the nite.. see my thread in this forum
