Trance is evolving... into Progressive

I usually don't make recomendations (never in fact) but I will make one as this is one of the most beautiful and underrated tunes ever.
The man is the same genius behind FC Kahuna - Hayling (Kosmas Epsilon Mix), featured on Balance 005 so maybe you're familiarized with the style... Epic/Dream/Progressive?
The tune is unreleased but there is a sample floating around from a Ozgur Can set:
Kosmas Epsilon - Innocent Thoughts :eyes:  :eyespop:
This is one of those few tunes which is slowly converting me into a proghead, but im not ashamed as this genre has 2 elements I admire on a good trance tune, beautiful melodies and goosebump inducers.

Anyway... everytime there are more and more tunes with this kind of soft structure but magnificent and subtle melodies, and I'm talking about huge tunes played by the "big" DJs and loved by everyone, i.e:
Solid Globe - Sahara
Mark Otten - Tranquility
And maybe is my impression but this makes me wonder, is Trance evolving into Progressive?

A bit off topic but I dunno there kinda seems to be alot of Progressive Trance lately, like what Markus Schultz,Armin, etc plays and I think it sounds a bit like "wanna be progressive", I think it mine as well just be Trance. But don't get me wrong I love Prog Trance, or better yet Progressive House.

Trance is not evolving into progressive. Trance and progressive are just starting to come together in a lot of mainstream productions these days. There's still a definitive line between the two, however.
Wretched
No.. this isn't occurring.

No

Why ?

Trance evolves with personal tastes which are yours only so some people go into prog, some into techno, some stay with the trance as it is, but the whole point is that it goes where you want to take it, nowhere else
fr0st
Why does everyone have to put a label on everything, it really annoys me... If you like it listen to it. If you dont like it dont listen to it... Dont be biased cause its in so and so genre......
Syeker
Trance is getting mixed with probably every genre, tech-trance is an example but i don't think prog-trance will be the future of electronic music cause i don't know about you TAs but prog can get boring.
