yes saddams regime was evil....but what happened now is worse! |
You're soooo right. I mean those poor, humiliated prisoners were completely innocent!:whip: And embarrassing them like that??? It was worse than death! I can't even imagine touching another naked person, I'd rather cut off my nutsack. |

So are you saying it's not such a big deal that the prisoners were treated that way? :wtf:
Whether innocent or NOT you should NEVER do this to another human being is you have even one shred of humanity in your body. Okay so they are prisoners for a reason, fair enough. That still doesn't make it okay to treat someone that way when they are clearly incapable of causing any harm (wtf are you going to do when you're naked with a bag on your head and your arms are chained to a bed or behind your back?).
What they did to them was extremely humiliating. If you don't think so, i hope one day that happens to you too, then you can roll your eyes and act sarcastic about it. |

| In many of my previous posts I have clearly indicated that what the soldiers did in the prison was indefensible. I agree that they were wrong, no question there. But let's not use that as an excuse to defend prisoners as innocents, and don't try to tell me that a little bodily humiliation is better than 300,000 bodies in mass graves, rape rooms, and torture cells. Keep things in perspective, and in the correct context. I'd rather get in a naked heap with a flare up my ass and women's underwear on my head anyday over the daily fear of having my family killed, or my tongue cut off, my sister raped, or worse. Furthermore, people need to come to grips with the mentality that the deplorable actions of a few are representative of the behavior of all. |

Don't worry, I pledged a fraternity in college. It wasn't the worst thing that ever happened to me. :p
Now what about Nick Berg? A little worse than "extremely humiliating" dontcha think? |

LOL @ fraternity pledge (i heard those were pretty ehmmm extreme :p)
I never meant to say that what happened to Nick Berg was not humiliating. It was more than just that too, it was an unnecessary show of barbarism that some sad individuals believe to be right and I am all against that. Nothing justifies an execution performed in that (or any other) way. Nothing justifies an execution period (and this goes to both countries as I still believe the execution of the wounded Iraqi was equally wrong).
However, I do believe that this was meant in retaliation for the media exposing the pictures of the prisoners being mistreated. I'm not going to go so far as to say that it could have been avoided had the prisoners not been treated that way, but I certainly believe it probably helped fuel their anger even more :( |

thats such an easy thing to say man, did you experience it? no, did you witness it ? no, ya a couple of pictures maybe..
remember saying the word torture is faster than the thing its self.
how would you know, if torture and humilation is not worse as this? maybe it's not for you? but many people have their pride as well, and it mite be worse for them
like i said in an other post, some released soldiers, were talking about this what happend to them, they preferd to be dead now, since this happend to them..
Saddam, torturing people true, cruel man, yet does this mean USA have to do the same? like the dutch TV said, we thought that USA came to free iraq, not to occupy and repeat what saddam did
mate, death is death i don't care how you die, why is this worse? he died against his will yes, and it's sad and also his own fault, since it was HIS CHOICE to go to a hostile country.
so why is is this worse, than some innocent familie that died by a so called smartbomb? they died also against their will..right? |

if it was my style, i would get hot irons and rub them all over their faces, then i would chop their arms off, make them feel the pain nd scream their fukn faces off, and the burn them alive or chop their heads off. oh and i can go on with more cruelty, but theres so much.thats wat i call a real "capital punishment", and i dont understand why most people reject and think its better to just get a needle and put it into the arms of the criminal and make him go to sleep.. i dont think crime will be prevented like that... and at the same time im saying that innconets should not recieve capital punishment, its only meant for criminals. the purpose of capital punishment is to prevent crime, not to create crime.:whip: |
"and at the same time im saying that innconets should not recieve capital punishment, its only meant for criminals." --- well, DUH!!!!!
I could go on and on but I don't have time. One piece of advice buddy... stick to topics you can comprehend. |

Hmmm...if you're speaking of the same person I'm thinking of, who said that he's been so humiliated that he can't ever go back to Iraq. I believe he said he wants to come live in the U.S. now. Oh the irony!
And I hate it when people call me "mate". WTF, mate? |
