I just talked witht my parents and I found out that I am getting back from England on the 16th. This means that I will be there definetely. I will also bring stuff with me. Like: food, alcohol, snacks, or anything else you can think of that might be needed for the beach partay.
I will also be glad to help clean up. |

So this is what it looks like. We get the permit for the 21st. Set up starts @ 9am. Party starts @ 11am - 11pm. Clean up from 11pm-12am. OK, here's the most recent updated info. Aparently the person with whom I spoke to on the phone was in ing LA LA land or some because she gave me some bogus info.:whip: :whip: I went to the parks dept office today and paid the fee for the application. It turns out that the permit can only be issued from 9AM-9PM. It is NYC law that all parks & recreation areas are closed at 9PM. So basically, the earliest that we can start setting up is 8AM and finish by 9PM. HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE NO ONE THERE THAT TELLS US TO SHUT DOWN! If we decided to play longer, we'd be doing it at our own risk and taking a chance of getting a ticket from the NYPD. The NYPD will only come if they get multiple calls from residents that the noise is too loud. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Anyway, I should recieve the permit in 2 1/2 weeks via mail. At that time, I must take the letter with all the permit info on it to the NYPD pct. in the area to obtain the Sound Permit. The location on the beach that the party will be held at is Beach 116th St.
I just want to apologize for not being able to get the permit for a longer period, but it's circumstances beyond my control. Don't worry all, this is still going to be a phat party! Just think of it, A whole day at the beach with awesome friends & people and awesome music! You can't beat that! Let's just hope that the weather will be on our side!:) ;)
