Is Gandhi in Hell...

According to Christian doctrine, passage to heaven is secured as long as you accept Jesus. So is Gandhi in hell for failing to accept Jesus? I was wondering how you would respond to this dilemma?
According to Christian doctrine since Gandhi never did accept Jesus Christ as his own personal savior he would go to hell.
What about righteous and moral hindus, buddhists, muslims, jews, etc? |

| I think some will reply that he lived a moral life..like Jesus. Hence he would go to heaven. But if all that is needed to go to Heaven is to "be like Jesus" then why is it necessary to believe in him? |

Absolutely. And you're going to hell for doubting the Christian doctrine that was laid down by the one and only true God himself.

I doubt Gandhi was worried about it in his life time. I suppose according to the Christian dictorine he would be, but a good number of women in this world will be going to hell for wearing pants. So I guess its a matter of perspective.
But I don't believe in heaven or hell, so what do I know. |

You clueless twats.
Religions know how powerful guilt can be as a motivator so they instill images of an imaginary place called hell into their followers' minds as punishment if they don't follow the word, and it works a treat.
I mean, you can understand uneducated people a few hundred years ago believing this kind of rubbish but you wouldn't expect intelligent people in today's society to be so stupid.
Imagine living your life based upon whats someone else wrote in a book. Bloody hell, if you want to do that write your own book and follow that instead, I'm sure it would be more fun. |

| i dont understand this - lets say im muslim, and dont believe in jesus. How can i goto hell? I dont even believe in hell. Christiantity does not dominate all other religions. Not all religions follow christian beliefs. |

^exactly. it just matters what you believe in..not what the dominate religion. You can't go to a place that actually has not be proven is there and in which you don't believe in.
i try to respect all religious believes and such. but sometimes christain people piss me off so much for saying that i'm going to hell because i don't believe in their savior |
