You mean like the mustangs in the GT races? and with studs, mustangs are great in the winter... I used to have a 65 with dual exhaust straight pipes, flow masters, new carb and intake manifold, redone engine, tranny, electrical, and a new suspension + 3 inch lift from the shocks in back...
was fine in the snow :p |

I'm talking like a North East United States winter and such, where there are hills, 3-12+ inch snowstorms, etc. Anyone I've talked to said that Mustangs are absolute in the snow.
I used to want a 94-98 Mustang before I fell in love with my Integra. |

granted.
then again, ferraris suck in the snow too. As do all high powered RWD cars.
For snow id def go WRX wagon |

| Whats the use of having a sport car if you canr corner with it :conf: Oh ahd as much as i hate civics i would think that in a proper race it is faster than a mustang...in japan they actualy have some thing called corners and they make cars that are able to go round them. Americans dont know what a corner is thats why they call 2 blokes driving side by side for 1/4 of a mile a race |

If they do know what a corner is then all they know is a left one (NASCAR joke).:stongue:
Granted it does take an amount of skill to be good at the dragstrip. Reaction time, shifting points, etc. I don't really see circle track as much of a challenge, I enjoy autocross much more. |

ahem.... Ford Foci WRC cars???? or perhaps teh new ford GT...... might i add that one smokes the ferrari challenge stradelle and the porsche 911 GT twin turbo.. on 0-60, 1/4 mile and road tracks (yes with more than one turn, and not all left ones either) they were all tested at the ford california prooving grounds (14 mile road test track) and teh GT smoked them all.
so all you anti american car people can sit down and enjoy a nice cup of STFU.....
and while im on the pro ford rant... found on road dead was a term developed along time ago and the cause of that slogan has long since been rectified.... think of that next time you read teh JD power results for overall quality. Ford St Thomas assembly plant was ranked 1 for the 2nd time in 4 years..... so dont talk unless you got the data to back it up
ps... dont get me started on jap scrap... i use one as a grocery car since the piece of doesnt stay in one piece long enough to be good for anything else.... honda!! |

| I drive a 1995 Mustang 5.0L and I must say that the car is one hell of a joy ride. But I agree that ever since the V6 Model was introduced it has gone downhill. They are merely normal cars now. They gootta back to the olden days when REAL mustangs were made. Nowadays when i see new mustangs its like "wtv" cuz you kno they have no power under the hood. |

domestic anger - the jap scrap i take offense too though, but then again the reality speaks for itself, and like previously stated by another member, i opt for the autox, which i dont think you'll find many RWD cars...and pavement isn't autox...im talking true WRC!...and by the way for your jap comment SUBARU WHAT! |

thats bull man, its a myth.
i have my taurus for over 65000 km and the only thing that broke is the door handle ( i broke it myself )
ask yourself why most taxis are either Ford Grand Marquis or Ford Taurus. I was chatting with a taxi driver and he told me that his 8 month old Taurus which is driven almost 20h a day and now 160000 km later haven't had any major repair, only some regular maintenance.:wtf: |
