| Actually, I think the "gay vehicle" of choice is the VW Jetta. I'm not sure if it's that exact model, but I know that it's a VW. |

In a Ranger 4x4 cab, 510 watts will drive you out of the vehicle at full tilt - it's just too loud. Can't really fathom any more power than that. In a sedan there might be more space for more sound, but in a small cab pickup truck I'm about maxed.

| I haven't really decided with what amps I'm going to run yet or even which subwoofer (either one 10 or one 12, not sure of what name yet). I pretty much have the interior worked out though, either MB Quart or Focal components up front and coaxials in the back. Alpine headunit, and I'm looking to built it for SQ. |

Hey, y'all got distracted with amps and stuff. That Mustang is friggin hot. I wanted the wife to get one, but she wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee instead. Of course, with a V8. She also said I couldn't use it for fishing, so I had to get another car or truck. Wifes rule. Men adapt. Lol!!!!!!!

I'm really ed out my head right now, so sorry if it don;t make sence.
but the new mustangs look in awesome, the GT40 is nothing to blab about, they owned ferraris at there time and kinda still do, but if you want a mean machine, look at the Ford Escort Cosworth, it was said it had the very best turbo unit of its time and it would womp the ass off of anything else, plus, in WRC, the focus has won it afew times, unless my memory is just ed right now, but umm yea, nice pics orbax, those are in awesome. |

Hell yeah. If they had the Cosworth in the US one would be in my garage right now, considering I could afford it.
And for those questioning Ford's quality: My 10 year old Thunderbird is still running strong with 100k+. Our 1987 Ford F-250 still runs like a dream.. as much of a dream as a truck can be.. the two Mustangs we own have never had a problem. Meanwhile, our two year old Trailblazer has had 3 recalls and a 500 dollar repair on the fan clutch. The Chrysler van we had before the Trailblazer lost its transmition within 2 years, my friend's Dodge truck lost its transmition within two years, and my great uncle's Dodge truck.. you guessed it.. lost its transmition pretty quickly.
Daimler-Chrysler = horrible.. especially for the amount of money you pay for their vehicles.
And the new Mustang Cobra will outrun the Viper in the 1/4 at half the price.. can't go wrong with that. |

There's not a car on the planet that the C6 (or C5) can't spank the out of in every performance category for the price. The 2004 Z06 does high 11s in the 1/4th and 1G from the showroom. :eyespop: Your rambling sounds exactly like these fools from Top Gear:

As far as bang for the buck champs go, there's not a cheaper platform to do it than a 5.0 Fox body. Even a GM guy like myself will admit to that. Ask Bob Bondurant if Mustangs can't handle. :thepirate |
