| Yeah these senators have to watch everything they say or it'll turn around and bite em in the ass later or ruin their credibility. He probably didn't know he would be endorsing Bush in 2001, just like Kerry didn't know he would be running from president in Vietname or Bush being president when he ducked service. |

| That's the one issue that gets me is the Vietnam service. Bush avoided being drafted, while Kerry volunteered to go to Vietnam. This should NOT be an issue. |

you're right, and clinton ducked too, the whole vietnam thing should not be an issue.
thing is with kerry is that he lied about his what he did in his service and his accomplishments. that tells you something about his character. something i dont want seen in a president |

Izzy!! You have entered hot territory!!.. If you referre to the Swift Bote vetereans thing, then you should dig on the other threads.. with proofs and evidence of how distorted their commercial is ( twisting lies ).. There's still to be proven about the supposed lies.. The problem with this veterans is, not the medals he won or did, but what Kerry did after the war, which that has them pretty mad.. soo.. there heh.. There's plenty of threads about this.. as well as news sources and such.;) |

true, i dont know much about it. could be he lied, maybe he didnt.
all i'm seeing is that this is a character attack (a lier) and not an attack agianst a certain action (like draft dodging).
people make stupid mistakes and do the wrong things, no one is perfect, i can excuse them of that. but what i will not excuse is a bad character, a lier, cheat or fraud. |

As for the military spending, who cares! We spend enough as it is and if we are going to countinue to do so we should bump up taxes to those who like war.
Since Kerry doesnt have a good response team like Clinton, this pretty much the end of him. Where is Dean :( :p |

BTW I find it funny Moore has gotten the biggest crowd reaction, while there hasnt been a mention of Osama. Is Moore that much more of threat than Osama? :o
