Well they're over now, how'd you go? Computer Architecture is about processor design, memory architecture, instruction pipelining... all sorts of design and performance issues on a very low level. Interesting but very detailed!

Thursday's exam was decent...just took a long time to do. Yesterday's Western Civilization exam went pretty smooth. Everything took a weird turn after the exam though. I have a friend who took Russian Civilization last semester and made an A (he's a history major)...come this class and he makes a 72 on the first exam we took like a month ago. I was outside talking with some of my friends that are in the honors college with me and all of the sudden people exiting the exam start chit-chatting about the same we are...the way the teacher's assistant is grading our exams.
The guy's a graduate student with a major in history. We pretty much all came to the conclusion that he's using too much of what he learned in college to grade our exams, which is not fair at all. When I chose the topic on post-reformation, pre-reform and reformation...i wrote about all the little peasant revolts, religion warfare, etc. I had like 4 of my classmates look at my exam and all of them thought I deserved a B or better. My grade was a 78.
After we get our exams back in two weeks, we're getting over half the class to protest against that teacher's assistant, in which we're hoping to ban his ass out of the department. We're the one's paying $900 for that class, not them so they have nothing to worry about.
