It's the 'where's mine' generation, and it's been on the rise for the better part of 40 years (really, starting in the 30s). Nevertheless, an awareness of such a trend does not necessitate an uninterrupted preoccupation with its existence, as it often leads itself, ironically, back to a proliferation of that same mentality.
in other words, you can know about it and still operate on a day-to-day basis, carrying on with a 'normal' life, and reserve time to deal with that separately. |
