I suggest you give it a listen. It shits all over St. Anger, though that isn't hard to do. For me it's a revisiting of their thrash roots, with the incorporation of some subtle progressive metal qualities, and at the same time it actually sounds like real Metallica. Sorry to hear it's #1, only because it worries me that if it's that easy to take to then I wonder how long it'll be before I get tired of it... |
