I haven't been buying a lot of trance vinyl, so, sadly, I haven't heard any of these tracks yet, but there are a bunch of formidable producers on there. I'm sure it's a great set. If I can get somewhere, other than work, with internet to download, I will check them out. Looks like some good stuff.

why list White, Promo, CDR and Test Pressing after every track. It doesnt make you look very 'cool'. Youre from public domain at the end of the day.

The only valid complaint about the original post would be to suggest that it be posted in the dj forum.

I can't see why including information about the source of the track implies anything? It's just extra information, and it may or may not be useful to those reading the post.

Why don't you re-evualuate what you want to add to the forums? Posts exist for reasons other than opportunities to attack people. Posts exist for reasons other than opportunities to attack people. Quit seeing negative angle of everything and this world will be a much better place...

Why post anything that doesn't make you look 'cool'. If it doesn't boost your street cred then why bother, I mean who cares about being informative after all!

Just for clarification, those two tracklists are two seperate mixes, and you have to download the four files & run join32 twice? Just confused me a little since the way the 2nd tracklist you posted starts off with 'MIKE (contd)' makes it look like it's the 2nd part of one overall mix. :conf:

The 2 mixes are 1 continuos mix although will have to be put on 2 80 minute mixes...

Mark Sherry is da bomb! I've been meaning to check out your other mixes (i have July Trance 1 and Summer Trance 1) but i guess my brain misfired.

Wicked Neo

Mark is doing his playlist the way many other DJ's do.

When a dj does a set for radio 1 or even tranceairwaves for an example, we require the label to be included for copy right purposes, so if it's a promo cdr or white label vinyl we require that information to be put on the tracklist.

Stations like Radio1 & tranceairwaves have to pay copyright fees.

So basicly the way Mark is tracklisting his set is the standard way of doing it and is not for showing off or trying to look cool.

Plus it also helps others who like the tracks in the set to be able to purchase them too, it's handy knowing the label, availability etc.
