The best part is when the chick starts hitting the cop as he arrests her boyfriend and then get walloped by the cops with a nightstick. And everyone can't understand why the cop hit her.... DUH! :rolleyes:
If i were any of those cabbies i would have honked my horn 3 times as a warning and hit the gas....

yeah, it's pretty ignorant to do that, but the same thing happend when the Jays won the world series. |

| No it didn't.... I was there and although there were literally a million people in the streets, there were only a few minor arrests that night and certainly no car tipping. The worst thing that happened was that 2 guys got on top of a street car and stood there waving the flag. |

I would have busted out the riot police on horses and everything on that crowd.
that is entirely classless, and is why most of this country HATES toronto.
Calgary had civic celebrations 5 times the size of that one(around 15kpeople) 3 nights a week the entire flames run. Not once did something like that happen.
Im not really shocked, after the exhibition in Dundas Square, Its not surprising that attempts to get women topless against their will ended with taxis getting overturned.
Toronto=classless.
This is why the country hates you.
DAmn, I wish they arrest every ****** caught on tape.
doubt they get even 1 or 2, but I wish they got em all. |

This is the first time ive seen something this bad ever in Toronto. I guess the west is tasteless too since Vancouver was the first hockey riot i ever heard about and that was over 10 years ago.
i'll be the first one to trash toronto when i see fit but take some responsibility for your comments at least. |

| yea seriously!!! where the hell were the riot police? i hate to say this but the people that seemed to be causing the rukus look like valley kids from up north. They come to Toronto and cause this kinda . Most of them were drunk/high rednecks if you noticed. Not a single coloured in the crowd. My interpetation might certainly have a racial slur to it but i'm only pointing out a fact. Still a big no no. Once u come to Toronto, we welcome you like one of our own. Shame on every fan wearing that jersey. I also blame the police for not taking proper action. Took em hella long. Next time, bust out the riot trucks and water hose them suckers down the street. It's alotta fun watching someone feeling the wrath of 3 atmospheres of pressure |

man, what a disgrace. Celebrating Canada's win by denting a taxi that happens to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?! Is that how you release your excitement and joy for canada winning a hockey game!?
if this was happening in Montreal, there'd be 2 lines of riot cops, 20 strong, on both sides, banging their sticks and marching forward. Any idiot caught in their way and resists either gets their ass kicked, like that stupid girl trying to attack the cop, or they get thrown in the slammer. Instead Toronto employs 3 cops with bike helmets to keep the hooligans in check.
What a joke...call the army next time ;) |

| Don't anyone ever tell me (as an excuse to fairly poor performance of Canadian athletes in Athens as many has brought this up) that Canadians are "naturally" calm, nice, less nationalistic, not very competetive, not really out there to prove something or whatever other excuses i've heard...this is just the video to prove it wrong :toothless ;);) :toothless |

Fine these "Canadians" weren't calm and that nice at all, but what exactly where they doing "out there to prove something?" Proving that they're complete drunken fools with nothing better to do? If they wanted to be nationalistic, they didn't have to start smashing taxis while their drivers were still inside!! |
