i was going to say that women are also quite gropey these days.
Also just as bad as groping is the elbow factor. Everyone does it but ginas are the guiltiest. The stick their elbows up and out in a packed club. This aggresiveness deserves honourable mention for sure. |

| One thing I have noticed going to the clubs are that SOME (yes I said some) guys are just plain stupid, but I am sure there are girls out there who fit the mold too. While I am out at a club and a guy tries to hit on me I do my best to nicely brush him off. The problem is that 2 seconds later he is back in my face. This forces me to be a little more rude in hopes he would get the picture. Unfortunatly this very rarely works. I find that it is the same guys that are bugging me the entire night. I guess my question is why do these guys bug me all night??? All I know is if I was trying to pick someone up and they turned me down I would at least look to someone else |

Just politely say "im flattered but im not interested". This gets the point across without being callous and rude.
If he persists then get rude. |

aggressive guys really took the lustre out of partying for me... I would have these great experiences meeting new ppl and having fun w/ my friends and some predatory guy grabbing me or one of my friends would really have a bad effect on my night. I will no longer go to a guv resident night and stay past 3:30 or 4. After about 4am there are just too many guys, not enough women, and many of those guys act like vultures around the few remaning women left.
and to the person who said 'smart mature women sty away from these guys' well duh? ofcourse we try to stay away from creepy guys, but we don't have eyes on the backs of our heads. I was walking around system saying 'bye' to ppl and some greasy old guy grabbed my ass and gave me a pervy look, before i could grab one of my guy friends to go over to him he disapeared.
I really love the scene and for the first time in my life have felt truly comfortable socially, but this aspect is very disturbing. I am not anti-drug, I have no moral aversions to drugs but I find the most bothersome thing about drugs in the scene is the idea of ppl so ed up on drugs that sexual predators have an advantage. I just wish this element didn't exist :( |

it's def a slipperly slope. i generally try to give ppl the benefits of the doubt and be polite first.. i've seen some women who are so protective and defensive that a guy just wasking them how their night is going can produce responses like 'i have a boyfiend' etc... it's hard to tell what ppl's intensions are right off the back.. my advice is to be on your toes but not to jump to conclusions |

I notice that too..........it's like the end of the night is coming and they are running out of time to pick someone up.......seems to happen almost every time at the end of the night. |

You think that's bad? How about having the feeling of someone touching your sweaty back only to look behind you and seeing some guy licking his finger. BTW I'm a guy.

I know how that is Tully.
You could be the most uninterested person and they sometimes won't leave you alone. You don't want to make eye contact and then whoops. Some people just don't get the point so then I start to become rude. You can't avoid it if you want them to leave you alone. After that they sometimes don't even get the point so that's when I start hanging off my guy friends (if Mike isn't around).
Remember that guy at the Guv Margs. Evey time I am there he tries the same approach to pick me up. I tell him I think I have met you before. So he walks away and then he came back to the KoolHause and tried dancing with us so I turned my back on him.
I then turn around and watch this guy do the same thing with every other girl. I want to ask him next time I see him "how's it working for you"? Just because I am curious if maybe it does work that one time that's why he keeps doing it. |
maybe we should start wearing stuff like this when we go out:

I was at this bar/club yesterday, and my friend told me that there was this really pushy guy that grabbed her ass and he looked messed up like he was on drugs or something. When she told me it happened a second time I almost lost it nearly threw him out the window lol.
WTF is wrong with these losers!? I'm always hearing girls complain about guys forcing themselves onto them when they're they're out. How did it become acceptable to grope girls when they are at a club??Why is this allowed to go on in these places?
And people are always asking/complaining about there being too many guys at places like Guv or whatever, no ing kidding, what girl is going to want to go if she's going to be mauled by a bunch of sweaty horny losers!?
Girls, I'm telling you, don't let these idiots get away with it!! If they do like that tell a bouncer or a friend, they deserve to have their ASS KICKED, and THROWN OUT. |
oh dear, he wasn't on drugs or something was he? |
