Sorry it does not work this way, Jayx. I for one, tend to view the party scene in a more communal way than one that's geared solely for individual benefit only. The perp might not be bothering me anymore but chances are, at some point of the night I will either catch him bothering my friends, my sister, my neighbour, my cousin, her cousin etc etc etc. I think you get my drift. Behaviour like that is UNACCEPTABLE- and I don't want anyone, friend or stranger, male or female subjected to being objectified. and what about the money people pay to get into these places only to find one sketchbag or another hanging off of them. suks!
I have had wonderful times with friends and strangers alike while dancing- most times like Liam says, I am surrounded by friends or TAs or people with good vibe. However since the topic of aggressive guys-girl has come out, I'd like to be sure that this dialogue is given the attention it deserves and hopefully we will pay heed to some of the information here and react instead of giving in to inertia.
That't it for now.
my $0.02 on this. |

I must admit this is true. When I was doing a bit of bar hopping, and clubbing in Italy.. these Italian men were RELENTLESS!! Way worse and I mean 1000% time worse then guys here in T.O. And they weren't even coy about it, they were just like.. "hey baby you know you like that!~"
But then again like erdega said guys over there don't hit anything that walks either.

LOL @ SP's ignore strategy...
anyways.... your job at a club is to have fun. If losers are bothering you it's security's job to be security. If they are gone then they aren't your problem anymore. You want them to mind their own business. Well maybe instead of being club cop you should do the same. Deal with it until you solve the problem for yourself with whatever means it takes. If security has to toss him out so be it but i think you take on the role of protagonist once he has left you alone and you take it upon yourself to seek him out. |

Ah yes....the pervs, weenies, juice-pigs, gropers, ginos, grease-heads and drunks...
What would a bar/club be without them. *sigh*
Hate to tell you guys/gals but that haven't changed for YEARS and YEARS...
What you need is a strategy and if one thing is true and contant in this world, it's the above lot in a bar/club...
Most of the women have it right, stay in a group, have some guys around (aka pseudo-bfs) and have a great time.
The problem arises when someone strays and leaves the bubble or is on the outter edge of it (which of course is going to happen through the course of the night).
Someone out there is almost always going to 'test' (for whatever insane reason) the boundries in hoping for a positive response.
In all my years of clubbing, never have I seen a positive reaction to a lot of things mentioned in this post and I have NO clue why these social deviants persist in such pre-historic, taboo queries when they know what the only outcome can be...
(Hopefully a quick blinding smack and flash of red before their eyes).
I myself like to play the role of pseudo-bf; the protectorate.
Does it matter than I'm not their 'real' bf; no.
But I do get the satisfaction knowing that I'll see them again and that I'm helping a friend when all they really want is what I want; to have a good time! :D
Long live TA!! |

I admit I don't know much about this personally but I've talked to some Italians about the way it is in those places, and they say it's not exactly what it seems.
That is to say, yes, a guy may slap a beautiful woman's ass, but it's not really an attempt to pick up or anything. It's just like a sign of appreciation. They don't try to grind or rip a girl's clothes off on the dance floor. Does that make any sense? When a girl in Italy wears skimpy clothes it's not taken a sign that she wants a and wants it now, it's just showing off her beauty, and guys there will show that they notice it but not try to rape her.
Maybe I'm totally wrong on this, like I said I haven't been there personally. According to my information though, ass-grabbing is just ordinary flirtatious behaviour, like a wink, it's not supposed to be overtly sexual at all. That is in contrast with the creeps at clubs here who really and truly are trying to get the girl's clothes off and will even resort to drugs sometimes in order to accomplish that. |

I'll admit it. :(
Sometimes I find that I am self-agressive...
I follow myself around the club, pinching my ass, leering at myself and whispering lewd comments in my ear. God! Sometimes I annoy myself sooo much. Why can't I just leave myself alone????

I was at this bar/club yesterday, and my friend told me that there was this really pushy guy that grabbed her ass and he looked messed up like he was on drugs or something. When she told me it happened a second time I almost lost it nearly threw him out the window lol.
WTF is wrong with these losers!? I'm always hearing girls complain about guys forcing themselves onto them when they're they're out. How did it become acceptable to grope girls when they are at a club??Why is this allowed to go on in these places?
And people are always asking/complaining about there being too many guys at places like Guv or whatever, no ing kidding, what girl is going to want to go if she's going to be mauled by a bunch of sweaty horny losers!?
Girls, I'm telling you, don't let these idiots get away with it!! If they do like that tell a bouncer or a friend, they deserve to have their ASS KICKED, and THROWN OUT. | [SARCASM] MOVE OUT OF MY WAY, BITCCCHHHH!!!!!!! :whip: [/SARCASM]
Maybe if the ladies didnt dress so revealing like they are ready to pick up any guy like the drop of a dollar - cause most gropers are s who just dont get any of you know what, and dating that kind of men is almost like committing a suicide. On the other hand, those are kind of girls who prey on men in bars/clubs - they meet them and often use them like the last good piece of cleanex. Its a messy issue. |
