| Well havent heard enough of miss b. to declare a winner on a preach vs miss b. battle,but for now all i can say is that preach kicks some serious arse,everytime he spins at aria,its an awesome night. As for misstress,she's wicked too,the tiesto night,i enjoyed her set more then tiestos ( there was a battle inside me at that moment,a part of me didnt want to admit i digged miss b's set more then tiesto's). But for sure whenever these guys are spinning,i do wtv i can to be there,maybe if aria could book the misstress next year and have preach spin before or after :toothless |

| well i have to agree that the last time i saw her "grand prix weekend w/tiesto" she came on and slaped tiesto around like a little bitch.... but as earlier posted in the thread, you really can't compare tiesto to barbara, and i really don't think you can compare preach to mb either..... all three of them are awsome dj's that i have seen many times and they all can get a croud going..... so in the end, she had one of the better sets that i have heard her spin, wich i have seen her almost a dozen times now and she just seems to get better and better every time :tongue3 |

Ya.. I hear ya there Sarah.. have to get used to this type of thing though I am afraid..
Aria isn't booking techno like they used to.. and while this night may appeal to some, I'm sort of annoyed the one headliner that passes by in almost 2 months is booked the same night as Paul Oakenfold.. kinda makes me wish Carola was booked to play Circus instead as originally rumoured. I realize it's because he is passing by these parts, so it was probably either book him that night or not at all.. but I think I am going to catch his set in Toronto instead.

I seriously think Carola and Oakenfold on the same night is something great! Best of both world!
As for Barbara, she is very good and very different than Preach.
Preach is just very very good and at the moment he is one of the best techno dj I have seen played. We are lucky to have him at the club so many times during the year. |

Normally I would agree with you, heck the more the merrier (Advanced hehe)... but given the fact that there are limited techno headliners nowadays, It's just a bit unfortunate that it has to be centered around a night like Oakenfold. Nothing against him personally, just an opinion. The best purpose it probably serves is exposing people to some wicked techno who probably don't listen to much of it.

I share your sentiments on this one... I miss Mateo a bit, but even though I complain about lack of headliners, I never complain about the quality of the techno :D |
