Tiesto was playing way harder than that about 10 minutes before she came on.

lol...if it's not exactly 10 minutes before, forgive me...I don't have the set on my work PC to point out exactly where I'm referring to. But I remember standing there waiting for her to come on and there was so much hard trance going on that I was really hoping she would come on and funk things up a bit. And she did - the first hour or so was fast, but still funky with a bit of tribal.

What did you expect her to play?

something else as a first track :p

i ain't a dj hehe

I wasn't there that night so I will refrain from commenting on what 'style' Tiesto or Babs played.. but I am leaning towards Sarah's opinion here.
Sure, as a 'professional dj' you have to have the ability to adapt to situations and cater to the dancefloor, but I probably would have been dissapointed if she started busting out the trance or fluffy stuff to start her set.

having said that... it'll be interesting to see Carola after Oakie... and then compare it to how he starts his set the following night @ System. :D

Sarah you going? I think Doug is bailing.
Skipper
I refuse to go to System again....so, no, not going. But I would still like to meet you! Too bad you're not in town on Friday, there is a techno night at boa.

I'm meh about Carola anyways.
