Yes it does.
Paul Van Dyk was apart of the Rock the Vote 2004 campaign this year in the United States of America. Please check his website for more info.

forgive me if this seems a bit of a stupid question, but what the hell have the elections in the US got to do with paul van dyk? fair enough, bruce springsteen etc etc, they are american citizens and thus it is actually their business, but c'mon, he's a german he should keep his nose out.
if someone from another country came to the UK to try and 'rock the vote' i would tell them to off out of my country, it has nothing to do with foreigners. |

with george bush deciding that usa is now the worlds police force & sticking THEIR nose into everything & anything that may or may not conern them I think is of great importance & significance. Just because america is far away doesnt mean they arent butting their nose into our affairs. Youd think this would be fairly obvious no? |

sure - i'm gonna vote because pvd says so
how are these gigs any different than his other ones? i think the one that i was working at pvd didn't do anything to tell ppl to vote - he just sat behind the decks and spun records - nothing special to get the young club goers to go register and vote |

| everyone who is entitled to vote should vote. You are a ing muppet if you dont vote - And if you dont vote & you arent happy with the president you get you can hardly complain.. why? because you didnt ing vote. |

yeah i'm voting - but not because pvd told me too
i don't think that celebrities (such as ben affleck, bruce spreenstein etc.) really have an impact on getting people to vote in this country |

i wouldnt know what the impact is, but id imagine that there is some however small, so its still worthwhile. |
